Paul D. Mueller

Paul Mueller grew up in Colorado Springs. After stints living in the Midwest and the East Coast, he moved back to Colorado with his family in 2022. He is excited about raising his kids and living in Leadville. And cares, therefore, about helping Leadville to be a vibrant, happy, and prosperous community.
He has a PhD in economics from George Mason University. He taught at a college in NYC for about eight years. Now Paul works as an entrepreneur and economic researcher. Economic development, affordable housing, upward mobility, and personal liberty are near and dear to his heart.
His priorities for Leadville are:
Improving the affordability of housing;
Spending tax revenue responsibly;
Investing in community development;
